I believe in authenticity. It doesn’t have to be perfect, just genuine and God-seeking. I believe in community. I don’t need to get fancy to get to know you. I want to come over and help you wash dishes, learn from you as you raise your children on a regular Tuesday or walk with you through a tough season that never makes it to the public. I believe that the largest stage I’ll ever stand on is the one in my living room. From the way I raise my children, to the way I both enjoy and reconcile with my husband, to the way I am there for those in my real life, in real time.

In today’s casual dating culture, it’s important to be prepared as we approach courtship; not idolizing marriage, looking to it as a means to an end or needing it to fill a void only Christ can, but being wise in how we do all things, including choosing our spouse.
